Centering with 7lb
The aim of this class is to teach you to throw taller. Seven is ultimately an arbitrary number as so much of this depends on you and what you feel comfortable with. But, around seven pounds is an amount of clay that I really enjoy working with.
That said, you only need to be fairly comfortable with centering 3-4lb of clay at a time. We’ll work on adding to that! Please note that our class time is packed, as such this plan may be subject to change if we are finding it difficult to fit it all in. Dates may be adjusted due to firing schedules/inclement weather/other forces beyond our control. I find I am nearly always at the mercy of the amount of humidity in the air affecting the rate clay dries.
This class must be booked directly through alley cat ceramics. Cost: $320
